A Trauma Training Manual
This training module on trauma awareness has been designed with
community caregivers in mind. It is expected to assist those working at
the grassroots level to reach out to vulnerable and affected members of
the society and to empower them with skills that will help them to
positively deal with their traumatic experiences.
The manual focuses on trauma from a social and peace building perspective and in a way
that persons working with traumatized African societies can relate with.
It is useful for those seeking to understand trauma from the basic to the
complex level.
