The Annual General Meeting (= Membership Consultative Forum) is the supreme decision making body of COPA.
COPA is headed by a Board. Its members are elected every three years at the AGM/ Membership Consultative Forum. Each COPA region elects two representatives to sit on the Board. Board members serve for a fixed period of three years but can be re-appointed by their specific regions.
Administratively, COPA is led by the Continental Coordinator who is based at the Secretariat.
Several programme and administrative staff members are working under him, both at the Secretariat and at the field office in Zambia
