COPA accepts interns and volunteers in both finance and programmes as per the following:
Terms and conditions
- Application for internship should be backed up by a supporting letter from his/her institution while that of Voluntership should be backed up by at least three referees recommendation.
- The contract period for both ranges from a minimum of three months and a maximum of twelve months.
- Interns/Volunteers do not represent COPA at any function without the prior consent of management in writing; and
- Interns/Volunteers are expected to adhere to all COPA's regulations, policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Applicants should be pursuing professional studies or just completed studies. They should be well-organized, self-motivated and reliable. Relevant coursework is highly desirable, and knowledge of French and or Portuguese is a plus. Basic computer skills are essential.
Application Process
Applicants should write directly to COPA ( copa@copafrica.org ) for the attention of the Coordinator. Applications should include a cover letter explaining the applicant's interest in working with COPA and an outline of relevant experience. Also to be included is a curriculum vitae detailing education, work experience and any other relevant technical skills. In addition, a supporting letter from the applicant's institution is also required.
